NY Comic Con: DCU Dinner

Hooray! Camera has been recovered, thanks to the sharp-witted Tom Palmer Jr., who grabbed it off our table at night's end. He's my hero.

And so Thursday night's DC Universe dinner at Chef Yu in midtown is salvaged. It was a lovely gathering, and so good to see many friends from out of town like the Sinclairs and the Hories.

After a few drinks everyone settled down to large round tables...
Open bar. Not much food eaten. Deep-fried chicken heads. It didn't take long for things to devolve.

The final touches, a jaunty scarf and garnish for hair. After that he became over-accessorized, a big fashion no-no.

Post-dinner was all a bit of a blur, as we migrated downtown. Needless to say, a good time had by all. It was also Cliff Chiang's birthday, so there was even more reason to celebrate.
